Privacy notice
Version 1 · 7 October 2026
This members-only forum is run by its volunteer administrators. They decide what it holds and why, so under UK data protection law they are the controller. Contact them at the address shown here once you’re logged in.
What we hold
- Your account: username, display name, email address, password (stored scrambled) and, if you add one, a profile photo. You need a username and an email address to join.
- What you post: threads, replies, photos and reactions.
- Login and security records, including IP addresses.
Why
To run the forum for its members and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We don’t use your information for marketing, and we never sell it.
Who sees it
Members see display names, profile photos, posts and photos. Only administrators see email addresses and security records. Our hosting, email and security providers handle information for us; some are in the USA, with UK-approved safeguards. Nobody else sees it unless the law requires it.
Cookies
Only the ones needed to log you in and keep the site secure.

- No login for 3 years: email address removed and account locked.
- Sign-up requests we don’t approve: deleted within 30 days.
- Emails about sign-ups: 90 days.
- Security records: 30 days.
- Backups: up to 90 days.
